How do you make a reservation:
Email or call to let us know the dates requested ?  Print a copy of the rental agreement from this site.  A security deposit and the signed rental agreement would be mailed back to us to hold the reservation.  RCou979684@aol.com,  mail to: Robert Coulter, 1404 Sandray Dr. Opelika, AL 36801
(I will block out the dates once an email is received to reserve the unit. I will hold the dates for 7 days, if no deposit is received in that 7 days, the dates are made available again)
When is payment due:
Your "total amount due" would be made about 15 days prior to your arrival date. When received we will send you your entry code or keys to your unit.
When do we get our deposit back?
Once you depart, the unit is cleaned and inspected. With the departure instructions followed and no damage, the full deposit is then refunded. (Usually mailed back within 2 business days)
Do you allow pets?
Although we love pets, No - the complex does not allow a guest to bring animals.
Do you allow smoking?
Our units are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted outside of the unit only. The balconies are fine as long as you dispose of all butts properly.
How close is the condo to the Beach?
It is a short distance across a low volume two lane street, a large Gazebo is located on the beach side of the road for our guest convenience. On the condo side of the road, we have a nice several section shower for washing the sand off.

Is there shopping near by?
Yes. GSSR and our condo are within minutes of shops, restaurants, and all types of entertainment for the family. We are located approximately 3 miles from highway 59.
Is there phone service?
Yes. Free local phone service is provided.  800 and calling cards can be used. Long distance calls are blocked.  To call local numbers, no area code is needed. The phone number to the unit is printed on your invoice.
Is there a fully equipped kitchen in the property?
Yes, our condos have a full kitchen including cooking and eating utensils, refrigerator, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender and dishwasher and much more.
Are linens and towels provided?
Yes, linens and bath towels are provided.
Is there a Washer and Dryer?
Yes, we have washer and dryers in the unit.
Is the property cleaned daily?
No, the property is cleaned before your arrival and after your departure. You can request mid-stay cleans at an additional charge.
Is there cleaning supplies/paper products provided?
We do not supply any chemicals in the home, but sometimes we have some on site. There is a mop, broom, dustpan, iron and ironing board in the unit. We do provide some starter products in the unit: Toilet paper (1), paper towels (1), soap, garbage bags (1) and a small package of dish washing detergent.
You will be responsible for your other needs there after.
Do you accept major credit cards?
Yes, credit card payments are accepted through Pay Pal at this time. An additional 3% fee on the total will be charged.

If you use the PayPal feature on this site, your cleaning fee will  possible show up under shipping on you invoice or statement. Each charge will include room rate + cleaning fee + PayPal service charge.
What will we be responsible for when we check out?
Full checkout instructions will be posted on the refrigerator in each unit. Take out all trash dispose in the trash receptacle. Remove all items from the refrigerator and wash and replace all dishes.

Is there a boat ramp and boat slips?

Yes, for the use of the boat ramp there is a one time per visit $10 boat launch fee. The boat slips are on a first come-first serve basis. The boat owner assumes all responsibility for his boat and equipment. GSSR is a family-orientated complex and we have very little problem with items coming up missing…. But we ask that you do not leave any valuables on your boat or public areas……. You are responsible! We want you to enjoy your stay and not have something like this put a damper on your vacation.

Can we fish and crab from the piers 

Yes, fishing and crabbing are allowed from the two private piers anytime day or night. Please check state regulations for license requirements. Please abide by state creel limits and laws. This is your responsibility.

Where can I clean the fish I catch?

On the pier with the gazebo, there is a fish cleaning station which has a sink, electrical outlet for electric knifes, a cleaning table, and running water for your convenience. Please clean-up after using this facility. Fish cleaning is not allowed in the condo unit.

Are long term rentals available?
